Earlier in 2011, ER Marketing worked with ThyssenKrupp Access to develop an all-new website. The existing website was outdated and not delivering the desired results.


A comprehensive site review began with multiple goals in mind, including:     

  • Easier to navigate: knowing the client’s audience is older and likely not as computer savvy, achieving this goal was critical to the site’s success    
  • More tools to drive business for TKA dealers, including a new, custom-built lead management system, simplified login and easier to use interface    
  • Better SEO: building the new site with today’s SEO best practices would increase traffic to the site and leads to TKA dealers, as well as helping lower costs in TKA’s paid search programs 
...Total leads rose by MORE THAN 20%...

So…how did the new site perform in its first 45 days live?     

  • Overall site traffic rose by 290%     
  • The site’s percentage of traffic from Google increased by 270%     
  • Total visits from search engines increased by 973%     
  • 30 of 31 identified most important keywords improved their position, with 23 going from >150 to 27 of 31 being in the top 50     
  • Total leads rose by more than 20% 

In short, ThyssenKrupp Access truly saw Real Results. Real Fast. This was only the first big step in the evolution of TKAccess.com – the site will continue to evolve with new features for site visitors, improved tools for TKA dealers and more.
