Goldblatt Tools is a 125+ year old, professional specialty hand tool brand, founded in Kansas City in 1885 and still headquartered in the metro area. After multiple ownership changes, the brand had lost some of its luster and confusion/indifference was an issue in the marketplace.

After working with Goldblatt on a complete brand refresh, including their Professional Performance Guarantee, it was time to relaunch the Goldblatt Tools brand. The National Hardware Show, the industry's premier tradeshow for product merchants and buyers, was identified as the place to do it.
A brand new tradeshow booth was developed that celebrated the brand's rich history, while looking to the the future and Goldblatt's two new product lines debuting at the show.
In addition, a comprehensive industry press relations campaign launched a month before the show and efforts continued for weeks after. The campaign included a press kit with multiple touchpoints and a "clutter-breaking" dimensional mailer inviting the media to celebrate the company's 125th anniversary.
The campaign's real results delivered coverage from 12 different publications, including front page feature stories from two different newspapers, with a total value 3x the investment made by the client and helping Goldblatt secure orders from a variety of new customers, propelling them into the summer months with continued momentum.
