Job Description


As the Digital Marketing Specialist for paid media, you will join a team of experts in digital strategy, design, creative ideation and development. You will be responsible for executing the strategy and development of acquisition campaigns for our clients across all acquisition channels. Additionally, you’ll manage digital marketing deliverables including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting of complex acquisition marketing goals across a range of B2B and B2B2C clients.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develop media plans for campaigns against client goals (branding/engagement, sales/conversions, audience growth, lead generation, etc.)
  • Develop short- and long-term digital advertising strategies for clients with the goal of driving new customer acquisition (sales growth), brand engagement, and customer retention through prospecting and remarketing campaigns utilizing search, programmatic, paid social, video, and emerging advertising tactics
  • Manage the entire marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Manage paid search, paid social, display and other paid media channels
  • Work with the Account Management team to generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards, and recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies
  • Own relationship with digital advertising/marketing technology vendors
  • Provide analysis of results and optimization ideas to Account teams in order to surpass client goals
  • Ensure that all client documentation is accurate and timely, following internal documentation and approval processes
  • Participate in client meetings and provide online marketing expertise as needed
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and provide relevant insights to teams as to how they might impact client accounts, as well as identify new opportunities for digital client engagement


  • 1-2 years of experience in managing paid media campaigns with a minimum budget of $5K+/month
  • Agency experience preferred

  • College degree in Communications or Digital Marketing or related field preferred
  • Experience with optimization of paid media campaigns to hit CPA, ROAS and Engagement goals
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of paid search platforms including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini, AdWords Editor and Bing Ads Editor
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Social Advertising, including, but not limited to:
    • Facebook Advertising and Facebook Business Manager
    • Twitter Advertising
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • Pinterest
    • YouTube
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics required; experience with additional analytics/measurement/tag management platforms preferred
  • Strong overall Digital Marketing knowledge, with daily desire and professional initiative to learn more
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, data-oriented and organized
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of and experience using TapClicks Reporting platform
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated mastery of online marketing tactics including the execution of keyword builds, bids and bid optimization strategies, implementation of new tactics, and related activities.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in the industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing medium to large digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience creating reports and recommendations based on account performance
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
